LEN European and FINA World Junior Champs Team Selections
Teams for the LEN Eurpoean Juniors in Isreal from 28 June, and the FINA World Juniors in Illinois in August have been announced. Selections have come off the back of the British Champs last week and the great swims from athletes in the East region has earned them a seat on the plane. Congratulations to Harry Constantine from Hatfield SC, Rachel Wellings and Amelia Monaghan, both from City of Peterborough SC, and Angharad Evans from West Suffolk SC who have all earned a place at the European Juniors.
Luke Turley from Hatfield SC has achieved a place at the FINA World Juniors in August- well done!

Job Vacancy- Regional Swimming Talent Officer
The ASA East Region is seeking a full time Swimming Talent Officer to join the team and will be responsible for managing and delivery of the talent pathway in the region. The successful applicant will be responsible for understanding the England Programmes Strategy and how this effects the talent pathway and provide expertise to support the development whilst mentoring performance coach development across all programmes. So if you feel you have the suitable skills and attributes for this position then we would like to hear from you.
Job Vacancy- Regional Finance Administrator
The ASA East Region is looking for a part time Regional Finance Administrator to join the team and will be responsible for delivering effective and efficient financial support to the region. The successful applicant must have a good knowledge of SAGE and an excellent attention to detail and communication skills. The role will also involve some administration support including minute taking for the Management Board. Closing date for applications is midnight on the 2nd May. 2017 East Swimming Long Course Championships - Additional Facilities Information
Dry Land Training and Revision Room Pilot - Weekend One
To facilitate athlete preparation and recovery, the East Swimming Committee will be piloting the use of the a dry land training area during first weekend of the East Swimming Long Course Championships. Elsewhere, a small space will also be available at various points for swimmers who wish to spend time revising for public examinations.

East Region Long Course Championships - Non Technical Volunteers
The East Swimming Committee is looking for volunteers to help staff the various non-technical roles at both weekends of the forthcoming East Swimming Long Course Championships.
Roles include marshalling, looking after the medal table and results distribution.
