Team Manager workshops

There are two levels of Team Manager Training:

Team Manager 1

An introduction to team management at a club & local level

This training is intended to be a basic and informative workshop to give participants the confidence and knowledge to effectively manage a team at a local level.

Team Manager 2

 Overnight stays and travel abroad

This training is designed for Team Managers who have successfully completed Swim England Team Manager Module 1 training and have gained experience in Team Management at a local level.

This workshop builds upon these experiences and aims to equip a Team Manager to effectively manage overnight stays or travelling.

The Region runs three Team Manager 2 workshops a year which coincide with February half term, the summer holidays and October half term.

Team Manager Training

Team Manager workshops are organised and delivered by the East Region and are available at regular intervals throughout the year.

We ask that clubs and individuals plan ahead where possible and do not rely on space being available on a workshop just prior to the event you wish to Team Manage at.

There are 40 spaces available on each Team Manager 1 workshop and 30 spaces on each Team Manager 2 workshop.

The workshop takes approximately 2 hours to complete. However, we recommend allowing 2.5 hours to ensure your device is set up and working properly before the workshop begins, and to leave time for questions at the end.

Please do not book on multiple courses as this prevents others from securing a spot.

If you cannot make the date you have selected and registered for please notify [email protected] who will remove you from the workshop. You can then select another date from the list and register.

You will receive the joining instructions by email no later than 24 hours before the workshop. If you do not receive them, please check your junk or spam folder.

On completion of the workshop your Swim England record will be updated with your attendance within 5 working days.
