What to do if you have concerns about someone’s welfare
lf you believe a child to be in immediate danger, you must call the police, then notify your club Welfare Officer for further advice. If no immediate danger is apparent, you need to notify your club Welfare Officer in the first instance.
The Swim England Safeguarding Team are available at any time to provide advice and guidance should you need them
If you are at all concerned and wish to seek advice from the Swim England Safeguarding Team please email [email protected], call 01509 640700 (Option 1 followed by Option 3) or complete the online referral form
Club Welfare Officers should be fully aware of Wavepower polices and information and ensure they are adopted into all club practices.
