On Wednesday 4th March, 95 coaches descended on the Fielder Centre in Hatfield for a day of learning, sharing and developing. Half term was a very busy week for our development team with three swimming camps all taking place in the same week! We had two camps on the Monday and Tuesday in Peterborough for a group of athletes who just missed qualifying for the summer national championships in the 18-19 season. This brings to a close a considerable amount of work in partnership with British Swimming to ensure we are delivering a quality product to our volunteers.

Nathan Hughes (Hatfield SC) returns to the United Kingdom as the International Junior Champion for the 10k Open Water. The 19 year old secured the European title at the LEN European Junior Open Water Swimming Championships 2019 on Saturday 3rd August in the Czech village of Racice, which is north of the country’s capital Prague.
