Nathan Hughes (Hatfield SC) returns to the United Kingdom as the International Junior Champion for the 10k Open Water. The 19 year old secured the European title at the LEN European Junior Open Water Swimming Championships 2019 on Saturday 3rd August in the Czech village of Racice, which is north of the country’s capital Prague.
We are please to announce bookings are now open for our innovative ‘Lessons from Champions’ event on the 22nd September 2019. Full details can be found here. During the year, the Region will be starting an audit of club constitutions to ensure that these comply with the amended Model Club Constitution, issued by Swim England in August 2018. All clubs should review constitutions on an annual basis, and are required to submit their constitutions to the Region for approval, every four years.
Swim England is launching a Coaching and Teaching Register in 2019 that will bring benefits to clubs, coaches, teachers and participants.
