Success for divers at National Age Groups 2018

There were 37 divers from five East Region clubs at the Diving National Age Groups held at Ponds Forge in Sheffield, which ran from 29th June to 1st July.  By the end of the competition, East Region divers had claimed 11 individual medals and two synchro medals!

Samuel Rudd (Dacourm), came away with two gold medals from the Group A 1m and 3m events and a silver from the platform event.  In Group C, Max Hill (Luton), also came away with three medals, two bronze medals in the boys 1m and 3m events and a gold medal in the Group C/D 1m synchro event where he paired up with Joshua Bush (Luton).  Joshua also claimed a second medal in the Group C platform event by finishing in third place.

In Group B, Frankie Webb (Cambridge) came away with two silver medals from the girls 1m and 3m events, while in Group A, Nat Connolly (Luton) took bronze medals in the boys 3m and plaform events.  He then paired up with James Pollard (Luton) for the Group A/B 3m synchro event where they won a bronze medal.  Also in Group A, Nadia Todor-Ward (Southend) won a silver medal in the girls platform event.
