Nathan Hughes (Hatfield SC) returns to the United Kingdom as the International Junior Champion for the 10k Open Water. The 19 year old secured the European title at the LEN European Junior Open Water Swimming Championships 2019 on Saturday 3rd August in the Czech village of Racice, which is north of the country’s capital Prague.
The Swim England Open Water National Age Group Championships were held on 5th August at the new venue of Thrybergh Country Park, Rotherham. Six of the region’s synchronised swimming clubs sent teams to the Swim England Synchro Combo Cup on 6th July at the London Aquatics Centre. There was medal success for the first time at the Combo Cup for Brentwood, and successive Combo Cup medals for Aqualina who came away with three medals this year . Full
