2008 Regional Open Water Championships

Whitlingham Outdoor Centre, Norwich

The competitiors enjoyed fabulous weather at the 2008 Regional Open Water Championships.  Taking place in July at the Whitlingham Outdoor Centre in Norwich, events took place over 800 metres, 1.5 k, 3k and 5k. 

Swimmers are guided around the course by bouys, there are no lane ropes to keep within as in the pool!

And they're off!  The competitors take to the water.
