19 volunteers within our region have been recognised for the work and support they give to develop swimming. All the volunteers were recognised by their peers and clubs by being nominated into five catagories from the ASA East Region Aquaforce 2008 Nominations.
The Chairman of the ASA East Region, Ian Mackenzie, said 'It is pleasing to see the work undertaken by volunteers is being recognised by swimmers, parents and peers. These nominations clearly show the passion shwon by so many of or volunteers'. The award winners will be announced at the ASA East Region AGM being held on the 13th September and will also be forwarded as nominations for the national awards.
