This year sees the launch of new categories and awards for the prestigious sports coach UK 'UK Coaching Awards'.  The categories now include more specific awards for Coaches, including Children's Coach of the Year and Participation Coach of the Year.  

The purpose of this event is to recognise and celebrate the talent, hard work and dedication of sports coaches, and those involved in developing coaches across the UK.

This is an opportunity to recognise and
reward those who have made a significant impact through their coaching, or in the development of coaches.  
The closing date for nominations is October 17th 2008.
