The first ever Junior Water Polo Cup Final for the East Region will be taking place this Saturday, 6th September, at Woodside Pool in Watford.   The preliminary rounds started in May this year and the top 4 teams will compete at Watford for the honour of being the first East Region Cup winners.  The competition is for male and female players born in 1993 or younger and the standard of play promises to be extremely high.  All spectators are welcome to come and see the rising stars of East Region Water Polo - the event begins at 6.45 pm.

The teams competing are Basildon, Cambridge, Watford and Deben (Suffolk). The tournament will consist of 2 semi-final games, a third/fourth place play-off and the final.  Each game will consist of four 5 minute quarters.  In the event of a tie there will be no extra time and the match will be decided with a penalty shoot out.
