Get Safe 4 Summer Campaign
20 Jun 2007 21:16

The ASA's annual Get Safe 4 Summer campaign will visit the East Region on 29th June at the Robinson Pool in Bedford, 2nd July at the Letchworth Outdoor pool in Stevenage and 6th July at Great Dunmow Lesiure Centre in Essex.

Get Safe 4 Summer is the ASA’s annual water safety campaign, which teaches children essential life saving skills and delivers critical safety messages for them to take home with them when they visit coastal and inland waters over the summer holidays.

Run by the ASA in partnership with the Royal Life Saving Society and the PE, School Sports and Club Links Strategy (PESSCL), Get Safe 4 Summer is in its fifth year and aims to reach over 1,400 school children during June and July at schools and leisure centres.

David Carry will be part of the promotional team at the Bedford event, whilst Water Polo player Fran Leighton will be visiting Great Dunmow.
