European Junior Glory for East Swimmers

The European Junior Swimming Championships in Belgrade have concluded with more winning performances from swimmers from the Region.

Roberto Pavoni (Brentwood SC) won gold in the 400m IM in a new British Age Group Record time of 4:19.95.  Chris Walker-Hebborn (teamipswich SC) led off the Men's 4 x 100m Medley Relay with a 55.67 Backstroke leg which contributed to the team's victory in a time of 3:39.75.

It has been an incredibly successful Championships for the British swimmers, with East swimmers playing no small part in the medal count.  Throughout the Championships, Anne Bochmann (UEA City of Norwich SC) won 2 individual and 1 team gold, Chris Walker-Hebborn won 2 individual and 2 team gold and Roberto Pavoni won gold, silver and bronze.
