Swimmers from the Region were in the hunt for medals and good performances at the asa National Championships in Liverpool this weekend. 

With the Olympics and European Junior Championships on the horizon, competitors were hoping to fine tune their racing skills.  In the Men's 800m Freestyle, Hatfield's Richard Charlesworth finished in third, behind David Davies and Daniel Fogg.  He also took second place in the 1500m Freestyle.  Clubmate Adam Brown won bronze in the Men's 100m Freestyle, and Brentwood's Roberto Pavoni had a strong swim to win bronze in the Men's 400m IM.
