Thurrock SC's young swimmers are celebrating winning the 2008 Southern Area Junior Speedo League title for the first time in the club's history.

They won the M11 Junior League, and then competed against teams from across the Midlands and South of England to emerge as Southern Area Champions. 

Emerging from the competition against UEA City of Norwich SC, Boldmere SC, Hillingdon Borough, City of Derby SC and Bournemouth Dolphins SC as champions has now given Thurrock the opportunity to challenge teams from across the country at the National Junior Final at the end of November.
