Pavoni in Record Breaking Form
22 Sep 2008 17:26

Brentwood swimmer Roberto Pavoni has been in record breaking form as he competes with other British swimmers training at the Southport School at the Australian National Championships.

Roberto trains at the school on the Gold Coast alongside other 17-18 year old boys selected by British Swimming.  At the end of August he won the 17/18 year's 200m Butterfly at the Queensland Short Course Championships in a time of 2:01.17.  He is currently competing at the Australian National Short Course Championships and won the 17/18 year's 200m Individual Medley and 400m Individual Medley in times of 2:00.37 and 4:13.79.

All these times are East Region and Essex ASA record times.  The 200m IM time is the fastest swim ever recorded by a 17 year old in the British Swimming results database.
