An exhibition described in a recent press release by L.E.N. (The European Governing Body for Swimming) as a ‘remarkable initiative by Great Britain’, will be officially launched in the East Region on Friday 5th February at The Hat Factory in Luton.
The free exhibition, the first of its kind, will showcase images of both aquatic stars of today, including Michael Phelps, alongside potential future stars.
Simon’s aim is to take powerful and memorable photographs to help promote British swimming, diving, synchronised swimming and water polo. He is keen to tell the story of individuals and local clubs including the Putteridge Piranhas in the run up to the London 2012 Olympics, inspiring everyone to get in the water and have a go.
The exhibition which is an initiative supported by Luton Cultural Services Trust can be viewed every day except Sundays from 4-25th February between 9am-6pm at The Hat Factory in Bute Street, Luton LU1 2EY.
